Level controls are an asset in dairy facilities, grain silos, cement silos, hoppers, large bins for batching, tanks (water and chemical), 55+ gallon drums and more. Examples of level sensor types include capacitive, radar, pulse frequency modulation, pressure transducers, traditional rods or probes, rotating paddle among others. Capable of coupling the level sensor with a LED lightbar for visual monitoring in a stand-alone set-up. Additionally, remote monitoring set-ups available for monitoring over the computer or cloud server. Easy to set up and easy to integrate into existing server. Speed Wheel A speed wheel tracks motion of a conveyor belt. When the sensor inside the wheel does not see rotation, control cable leads to shutdown the conveyor belt and other interlocked equipment in the process chain to prevent material pile-up. Conveyor belts can nuisance trip due to large loads onto the belt slowing the belt or, hopping of the belt. The speed wheel does not loss contact with the belt and therefore, the sensor continues to see rotation or, slow of rotation avoiding any nuisance of tripping the breaker. We can in addition couple the speed wheel with a timing control cabinet prevent nuisance tripping by the use of a time-delay relay. You can adjust the timeframe it to fit your production needs. What is interlocking? If your production line does not have an interlocking scheme, it is highly recommended for safety and maximum material yield. Interlocking is a feature of making a state of two functions dependent. Example of interlock equipment in a production line, when the conveyor belt of freshly crushed rock shuts down, you also want the crusher feeding that belt to shut down. Please call us right away if you do not have any interlocking within your facility for the safety of employees and to prevent material pile-up on the ground. Whirligig This device which can be mounted magnetically. Universal Target / Mount Motion Sensor. Tracks rotation and moves travel conveyors. The force of the traveling conveyor winds a mechanism inside of the Whirligig device and when it calls for travel it releases the tension held within and moves the travel conveyor to the desire position set by the operator. Very cool technology. Simple and easy to install and use. Options to be sold together or separately. See Timing Control Panel page. Cabinet can be integrated into an existing speed wheel.
